Darsheel Safary to make Bollywood comeback with Quickie:
Aamir Khan’s little co-star in Taare Zameen Par made a lasting impact on the audience with his debut movie. While that should’ve been his call to ultimate fame in Bollywood, he worked only in a couple of films after TZP, which were quite dull TBH. He then disappeared from the big screen altogether after the 2012 film, Midnight Children. It’s been 10 years since Safary made his debut. Now the 20-year-old is all set to make a legit comeback with Pradip Alturi’s teenage love story, Quickie.

"It wasn't a conscious decision to stay away from films. We were figuring out. I told dad that I wanted to study in a college and have fun too, so I took a break," Safary told IANS. The actor is going to be seen romancing Palak Tiwari, daughter of Shweta Tripathi, known for her daily soap Kasauti Zindagi Kay.
In the last five years, the actor was busy discovering other avenues of films like direction, scriptwriting and more. "I did short films and wrote some scripts. I still have incomplete scripts. I don't know when I will complete them,” Safary said. "I had a blast directing and writing. I've watched so many films and I am trying to understand the technical aspect of filmmaking. But I will think about it after I make a place in the industry," he added.
The movie was announced in February, but deets about release are not out yet. Waiting for the trailer to watch Safary back in action!
