Taapsee Pannu Shows Feminazis Their Place: After portraying strong female characters in films like Baby and Pink, Taapsee Pannu whole-heartedly supports feminism. Taapsee feels that feminism means working towards an equal society for both men and women and not asking for extra rights to get ahead of the other gender. "We should start with equality in education, where you have the right to say something, to stand for something which you believe in. Feminist isn't someone who is going to ask for a reservation or extra rights or an edge over the other gender," she said. The actress said that the whole idea about feminism is to work towards equal rights for both men and women.
Taapsee has kept herself close to reality despite being a star and she feels that the people close to her are the reason behind it as she feels an actor can easily lose the sense of reality in showbiz. Taapsee feels that her family and friends give her motivation to take risks in the film industry as she feels that one must stay grounded. The actress will be seen next in the film ‘Judwaa 2' alongside Jacqueline Fernandez and Varun Dhawan. The film's trailer was launched recently by the makers at an event.
